At that day she have difficulty in laying egg in the morning. She felt the pain so much that, she can't eat, sit, stand, or even talk. So she decided to see the owl, the Forest doctor. His name is Mungavidhyan.
She authorised her elder child to look after the nest. While she was flying to the Mungavidhyan, she was in pain, the greatest of all the pain. She reached at the doctor's clinic and waited in the queue for half an hour with the pain.
Finally her number was called. She explained her difficulty, but Mugavidhyan didn't have a cure for it. He said " This is a rare kind of pain, so take rest for the next 2 days, drink a lot of water..." He prescribed some forest medicines too.
On the journey back to home, Kakathamburatti saw a terrible incident!!
"There is a Highway through the Middle of the Forest. In the middle of the road , there lie a bear, her stomach is very large and she is crying with pain." Kakathampuratti flew to her side, but she was late, a huge truck came through that road and hit the bear and passed away.
When she reached the spot, everything was over, there lie a dead body of a bear, drenched in blood. She was terrified by the incident and she even forgot her pain.
She had to return to her nest, her children were waiting for their mother to bring the food, so she hurried back. But that terrible moment stayed with in her heart. She even started thinking about a similar situation happening to her. Then what will happen? Who will take care of her children? "May be the "All Forest Birds Association" will take care of my children." She thought.
Suddenly she heard a cute cry from the bushes, she flew to the spot. There she found a small new born bear. She flew near to it and said "Hey cutie, you are alive!"
Kakathamburatti, looked at the new born with curiosity. It was a new born bear. It was drenched in blood, even the umbilical chord is with it. She looked it carefully and said " Hey Boy!"
